2018 IEC Key Dates2018 Preliminary Application (Due on January 12, 2018):

The 2018 IEC Application will include 2 parts, a written proposal, and a 60-second pitch video. You may submit your application to 1 of the 4 tracks.

Tracks:

  • Agriculture + Agriculture Technology
  • Health + Healthy Living
  • Technology, Consumer Product, or Service
  • Social, Cultural, or Environmental Impact

Part 1, Venture Detail:

Application opens November 15, 2017. All Idaho Entrepreneur Challenge applications must provide the following details about their venture:

Describe the Problem
Describe the Solution
Describe the Market Opportunity
Describe the Team
Describe the Go-to-Market Plan
Describe the Financial Model
Describe the Progress to Date

For the preliminary judging round, the Venture Detail is recorded in the Idaho Entrepreneur Challenge application platform. Teams that advance to the final judging round will be provided a Venture Detail PowerPoint template for use during the final judging pitch competition

Part 2, 60-Second Pitch Video:

Film a 60-second pitch for your team and upload it with your application.

2018 Final Round (March 15-16):

The 2017 Final Round will be held in Boise, Idaho over two days.

Thursday , March 15:

Evening – Welcome Event in Boise

Friday, March 16:

Morning – Live pitch round where teams will pitch their ideas to judging panels
Evening – Awards Ceremony
