Bridget Duffy serves as the college’s student program director. Responsible for overseeing the annual Idaho Entrepreneurship Challenge, upcoming Coding Bootcamp, and collaborating with students and faculty on the college’s Bridge to Career courses, Bridget is the catalyst for program outreach, web and social marketing within the college.
Bridget grew up in Oakland, California and graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Political Economy where she also ran Division I Cross Country and Track and Field (she won the state cross country meet twice). Prior to her position at CID, Bridget served as the Sales and Marketing director for the San Francisco-based bike company, Faraday Bicycles, and as a marketing representative and brand manager for Saucony Footwear and Fleet Feet Inc in North Carolina.
When she’s not busy pursuing her MBA from Boise State, (est. graduation year 2017), or redesigning the student learning experience— you can find Bridget cruising on her electric bike toand-from campus, trying every sport at least once, trail-running, paddle-boarding, surfing the continents (she’s looking to surf her fifth), or fantasizing about her dream house: an Airstream!
